There are times when a person gets unexpected good results from breeding less than spectacular rollers together. These surprises are not the norm and one should breed out of the best rolling stock he can get his hands on. Stocking a so-so rolling bird out of a close bred and good performing family is preferable to a so-so stock bird with unknown family history. Dan
