I have a bird that I hand tossed because it was reluctant to exit kit box. When I hand tossed it; it rolled imediatly and rolled to the grown. When I attempted to pick it up it came off the ground about 6 or 7 feet and rolled to the ground. I then was able to pick it up because it was disarranged. I put it back in the kit box to observe and noticed it seemed weak and was clumsey. I took it to my infermery box; fed and watered and kept it quiet. This morning it seemed less clumsey and perkier.

This bird was a very deep spinner and was very frequent, there was no problems before. a 2004 bird, hen.

Any suggestions of what could be a problem?

Had another bird that when I liberated a kit flew directly to the roof of my house; lit and kept wings drooped for more than an hour. Returned to the kit box and seemed to be weak and clumsey.

This was also a 2004 hen who was a so-so performer, but kitted well. None of my birds fly onto my house roof or any ones hose roof. I have since isolated bird in infermery box.

Any suggestions? This makes two birds in a couple of days coming off weak and clumsey.

Birds were medicated for worms about 60 days ago.

Air circulation is suspect; I will improve that today. The heat has been worsening here.........in the high 90's and low 100's a few times lately.

Thanks,Guys

Nick, feed um up good and put some vitamins in their water. The heat zapps their energy and if they haven't been getting their fair share of chow, it tends to compound the problem from my experience. Give them a few days rest, let them eat well and get re-energized.
Brian.
