Al, I will have to say 3 different fly's. Joe Roe in 93 world cup champion, Wheelersburg Ohio. John Bender in 94 world cup champion, Wheelersburg Ohio. And Joe Roe in 95 world cup fly in Wheelersburg Ohio. Monty said if Joe didn't have the out birds he would have won the world cup a second time. But I have judged some kits in different parts that were just as impressive. So to just pinpoint one kit it would be hard to say. Brian Middaugh

The best kit that comes to mind was one Robert Parker flew in March '04 during one of our club flys. Brian.

The best kit I have seen has been in my own backyard , and my dog will back me up on it LOL. Out judging the best kit I have seen was at John Weins in B.C. , it was just a hard working no BS kit, I'm sure that they could be much better than when I judged them and for the most part was the kit that he won the W/C with.

I have not witness that ultimate kit yet. I'm still in the pursuit. Altho I can mentioned that this year's World Cup Finalist produce one of the most active team I have ever witnessed in my whole time of visiting lofts/backyard. This team didn't possess much in depth nor did they possess much in quality that day but the team seemed like it was breaking every 10 sec. It just stayed in the same place break after break after break. They worked for the whole 20 min. - going about every 10 sec. Half way thru the fly, two Red Tails came by and the kit skied out but even in the clouds they were still going at it. The judge wasn't able to see the quality nor depth so he stopped judging but if the kit would of stayed low, this team would of trippled the points scored that day. One of the most active teams I have ever witnessed. Too bad they didn't show the quality and depth they showed to me on several other visits but it will still be remembered as one of those kits that blew your mind away. This kit was owned by Dick Kollmann of Minnesota. Still searching for that ultimate performance... Thor
