I just Read some post from guys saying that those who flew in the World Cup Competition got thier butts kicked by some colored birds, Well Guys at least some of us that flew in the World Cup comp. put the birds up,
as a local area coardinater I sent out over 45 invites to fly in the World Cup and telephoned a lot of roller breeders and all I heard were excuses.
I hope that now that these so called color birds are on top of the world that more people will be willing to fly and let thier birds do the talking instead of another persons birds half way across the nation

Eric.I know how you feel.LOL. I just hope mine fly the time.I don,t stand a chance of winning but my main thing is just to try to get this region going.Once they get started I think there will be some good kits coming out of the woodwork in this region. Most were tired of being put down because of what they raised. Now that JoeBob proved it can be done with Crossing families and having Color also I think you will start seeing more start entering in the Flys. This region is fairly large and everyone is spaced so far apart it is hard to get things going. Our regional(Terry Duez)is sure putting a lot of effort and money from his pocket to get it going.David

I've got about 50 young birds in the air from this family. It may not be too impresssive first year out of the shoot, but I'll have a kit or two in the Fall Fly. Don't know what color they'll be though!!! YITS Cliff

Ironically, my best birds thus far are a Brown-Check W/F and an Indigo-Opal Check. Also have quite a few Mealy-Bars out of birds from Gary Roberts (another SC based family of birds). A few Barless and some that I couldn't even begin to guess what they are. The colors just came out. Oh well - I like what I feed. I'll fly them out and see what they do. That'll make the ultimate decision as to how long their stay at Chateau Stephens is.
