Hey guys, I know it's probably been discussed in past posts but I was trying to find the actual changes in the Fall Fly rules? No luck. I've read the old and the new. What am I missing? Thanks much... ---------- Big Al "High Plains Spinner Loft"

Al they were easy to miss, the time in rule was obvious but the other main change was at the end of rule 7 , for some reason when it went to vote the chages weren't spelled out or highlighted, the rule 7 change was controversal and I didn't catch it until it was pointed out to me. On the 11 bird they just watered down the standard used.

Al, If I am not mistaken, the NBRC flew by the World Cup fly rules since the WC's conception, 10-12 yrs. ago. Two years ago, the WC made some changes to their rules, some rather controversial. This caused the NBRC to address the rule changes and the flyers MUST vote on any fly rule changes (NBRC ONLY). The NBRC executive committee, by majority decision, chose not to fly by the new WC rules and chose to simply try to improve on the old rules. The NBRC chose to make minor changes to the rules, but to leave the intent, more or less, the same. After this was approved by the committee, the NBRC flyers voted to accept the rule changes. The differences are more apparent if you read and compare the current WC rules and the current NBRC rules. Hope this helps! YITS Cliff
