Michael, some fanciers fly twice a day and some just once a day. It all depends upon the time you can give to birds.

I only fly once a day in evening after I return from work.

Make sure they are not full when release. If you will fly once a day either in the morning or evening all you need to do is feed them once they are back after flying but if you decided to fly twice give half ration after each fly (once they trap in). You would need to adjust feed - , + by looking at how birds come in (their reaction to feed). If they are slow coming in to eat and love to hang out for a while after flight then less feed if they are coming in very fast and when you let them go out not flying for 30 minutes then give more feed. My birds usually up for 1 hour and I feed them about 1 cup (8 oz) per birds per day. If they start trapping slow and stay outside for more then 5 minutes I cut little bit on feed so next day they come in fast.

I hope that helps, -Rauf
