Hello all! Just recived 12 squeekers 5 days ago. One has a swelled bald spot the size of half a pea on side of head between eye and beak. It eats good and drinks good. And is active. Do you think its anything serious? One other one is week and no weight it eats and drinks. But not active as others.I've wormed them the day I got them with wazine. And today I gave them plain yogurt in there water. Mabe the weak one is stress' Or not learned to eat well after being weaned? Thanks! Tapp

The bird could have got pecked by the eye by another bird. I could be stress too....It really stresses squeekers just to get moved from the parents to the weaning pen. I could imagine getting moved from the parents to a whole new loft. Let those birds eat all they can eat for the first 4 or 5 days..it will help relieve the stress. That is all I can think of....they are most likely stressed. You may have to hand feed the weak one. I have done that before...just for a couple of days...I hope that I could help

Feed the weak one kayee exact hand feeding formula. If the the youngesters are gettting picked on, then put them in a sperate cage until wounds are healed. Try a little triple antibotic ontiment on the booboos if not on the eyes or beck.
