Hi guys, This question has no right or wrong answer but is a question of preference only! Do you like the appearance of the hole in a roller or do you prefer to just see them blur while performing. See you in the roll... ---------- Big Al "High Plains Spinner Loft"

Hey Big Al, They're both nice to watch. I like ballbearing smoothness and a super high velocity roll of a well balanced bird that is capable of 'H' style or better.

Please Don't put any holes in my rollers. I like them in one piece.LOL When I take my glasses off they are blurry. Does that count?HA HA Just kidding. I like to see a rain storm of rollers, just as long a noone hit the groud.

I kind of go along with Russ here. But that said, if my birds didn't fly overhead so much, I might see more holes than I currently do. I like um fast and smooth, hole or no hole. I've seen some average speed rollers show holes before, but a super fast bird showing no wings, now that will get your attention! LOL. Brian.

I've never seen a bird blur but I have seen some truelly fast birds. As long as they are smooth with good wing style they are good, from that point on the faster the better. Here is some food for thought, most the time when a birds wing blurs out it is due to speed and slightly off balance and many of these will show poor wing style such as X when they don't have a great day, some do really wrap it up but most don't. Personally I love a "true" H with exceptional speed , they look like a tennis ball with circular blades on either side or thin perfectly straight lines, the wings won't blur out because of near or perfect balance. I am more likely to breed a bird where the balance is off a tad and the wings blur on a good day than one of these true H's that I like. I have seen this also with X , I like balance. The fact is my birds don't roll showing the "true" hole, I have had people over that talk about the hole quite a bit and will say that they see it with some of my birds, I just think to myself "that ain't it" The "true" hole is that rare, it takes a particular type and ball bearing balance to produce the true hole. Just my opinion Scott

Well, we all like the 'H' style birds with good balance and speed, how about the 'A' style rollers? Where do they fit in..Are those rollers easy to come by. All my rollers are 'H' but couple sports the 'A'. I would like to know in today's roller sport, if the 'A' style is still desired. Thanks.
