If they are up there all day you are feeding them too much. Feed them not more than a cup for every ten birds. Water should only be provided in the kit box. Use a bob type trap mechanisem on your kit box so when they trap they cannot return to the outside.

If they insist landing on wire instead of kit box get a tennis ball and throw up at them until they understand it is not safe to land there.

You made your birds lazy. Hence they have control over you. Remember, your birds are only as good as their trainer.

It sounds like your birds got lazy.

There are few things you can try but before that it would be really helpful if you can let us know the source of your birds (which family, where did you get them, etc..) & they are not SHOW/COLOR rollers.

When I started in rollers few years back I had same kind of problems, took advice from many and waste lot of time and in the last it was not me doing any thing wrong but the birds were problemtic, they were breed to show/look good on the ground and they were ROLLERS

lock them up for one week and only feed them 1 tablespoon of feed per bird this will breakthem down just right and fly them at the end of the week. keep an eye on who lands on the pole first and get rid of this birds because. they will cause the rest of them to do the same. and if this does not work get rid of them and start all over with new birds because roller are habit forming they usually never forget this habit no matter how good you think they are
they will just cuase you more time loss. and if you think their is a bird that you belive is awlsome them breed from it. just my thoughts steve.
