Does it annoy you guys and gals like it does me? Do you remove the bird(s) who do it?
Is it always the cock bird that does it?
Sailing or glidding seems to always follow the clapping and I just want to shoot them out of the air.

Ditto, I hate them suckers. Usually is a sign that someone is getting a little too much feed. If I can identify them, I don't let them eat for a day or two, that usually straightens their ass out real quick. Yes, I've seen hens do it to, but it is mostly the cocks that do it. Brian.

I enjoy that, it shows birds are happy and healthy. Some birds even clap right just before come into nice roll.

I have had the same experience as Sid. Most of my clappers are saying "Hey!! Dig me!! Watch this!!"then I get a nice roll ..usually. YITS V99

I agree also. Given that some experts in years gone by have likened the roll to an uncontrollable epileptic fit, the wing clap makes it seem like it's not quite so spontaneous nor uncontrollable. They know it's coming, they're ready for it and they're gonna enjoy it. Mind you, if the wing clap is followed by nothing but a glide, it's shite.
