Hello, I have a bird with too much frequency. The bird is very stable and roll really good but roll way too much and end up coming down either early or do not stay with kit. The bird used to fly for hours and and kit really well (but was not rolling). Ever since the roll hit him he just can not keep up. The bird is about 5-6 months old. What you guys usually do with that kind of bird.

Rauf keep him fed up and keep flying, many times they will get a handle on it, time will tell.

I occasionally get those and the results over the next few days will vary. As Scott mentioned, keep them fed up. By fed up I mean put them aside and let them eat as much as they want, then return them to the kit. Do this every day for a week or so and I suspect you will see some changes in fly time. Each one of these little critters reacts a little differently, but it always seems that extra feed helps a lot.
Brian.

I had a couple of birds that did the same thing. One was my R Red Campbell young bird and a little Tort. They both hit the roll hard and it kind of freaked them out...they would come down early. So..from the advice of Scott C...I let the two birds eat with the kit so that my feeding amounts remained the same...then when they were done eating. I would pull those two birds and let them eat all they wanted in a veiwing cage. When they were done..I put them back with the kit. They both straightned out in about a week or two. The little rr took a tad bit longer...the rr is one of my best birds as well as the tort....they kit like glue now~

Sounds good. That was my thought too that he was not getting his ration of feed he suppose to get. Will feed him up and hopefully he will hold the roll.
