After reading an artical in NBRC on portable fying, it got me thinking I would like to try it.I should have about 12 squeekers in late nov. to start a kit with. That would let me be able to wait till march to build my 4 kit boxes at home and take my time. maybe I could get some other people interested in the sport that other wise would never see a kit fly. And posibably get enough interested for a club around my area, and new members for the NBRC.Any other articles or more info out there you know of? let me know! Thanks ---------- Tapp

I have been thinking along those same lines. I have given some thought to flying a portable kit for exhibition purposes. The park on Saturday, parking lot of a football game on Friday. Pick a schoolyard. Walmart anytime. the possibilites are endless. YITS v99

Hey Tapp, You're a bigger man than I am!! LOL!! I'd be scared to death of losing my birds man. I admire anyone who does this. :-) I've seen articles as well. This would make a nice "Show and Tell" for our kid's school projects also! Kids would love it! I wonder would a kit of birds flown from a portable loft develop better homing instincts than birds that don't? Hey Tapp if you try it let me know how it works out. Good luck!---------- See you in the roll! Big Al "High Plains Spinner Loft"

Big Al I'm going to chicken out on flying portable. I'd hate to lose my kit to an overfly when I'm just starting out. I have an excelent place to fly at home with minimal hawk attacks. I want to fly comp so I'd better not be messing around with the birds I have. Maybe in a year or two I'll collect a team of misfits and fly them portable. When I do, I'll let you know how it goes. "The Portable Flying Misfits"! Sounds like a circus act don't it? So guys, call me chicken----!!!!!! ---------- Tapp
