well guy's just wanted you to know that I consider myself very lucky to be able to fly in the World Cup and Fall Fly .

I dont care what kind of rules they have as long as everyone fly's under the same rules.

I thank all the people that put countless hour's of there own time to make the Fly's happen .

For the last 3 years I have been the local area director helping the regional director for both the World Cup and Fall Fly and yes I put in some hour's setting the fly's up in my area and very happy to do it.

I am running for regional director for area 9a Los Angeles
and I know all the work it takes to put on these fly's and I just want to do my part to support the hobby by getting involved and helping get things done.

George,
I have been talking with the only other local guy I know, Rob Amos. He has suggested since we are in the Texas Panhandle, could we fly with the New Mexico Region. Same one as Ken Easley. It is almost 30 miles closer to Tucumcari that to Lubbock, which is the next closest flyers. What would that do to the regional setup since we are in,I think, region 6? If it would get me a judge I am all for it.
If you would like to email me privately my email is redneckhippie15@yahoo.com

George good luck on getting voted in !!!!!! That job is normally very rewarding and "most" appreciate what you do.
The highlight for me is my time with both the regional and finals judges we get BBQs in and a lot roller talk .
My spare bedroom I call the "judges" room which now is in a little of conflict with the wife due to our first grand kid , so now the judges room now has plenty of toys for him to play with and the room has a real "SponzeBob" feel LOL .
It is guys like you stepping up to the plate with a good positive attitude that help make these flys happen !!!

Kenny , you guys are just going to have to work to make it happen.
It may involve some extra money to get the judge over to you guys or some driving to pick him up to get him to you.

Scott,
I am sure we could make whatever accomodations neccesary to make it happen. All I would need would be a 7-10 days notice to schedule in time off. Who would I contact first my RD or the New Mexico RD to clear with him first?

Kenny I would contact both and see where it goes from there , both of those regions are "HUGE" and a lot of miles are put on to make them happen.
I am assuming that New Mexico is your best bet since you brought it up so I would contact Jim over there and tell him you will help out anyway you can to be a part of them.
Kenny that is how these flys happen, people pulling together and just making it happen any way possible.
Good luck and keep me informed !!!!

Scott
