Hi all! just like to know what is "in" in rollers about type--eg. long cast or short cast or don't care.
Iam getting the impretion that rollermen today prefer the short stubby roller over the long cast roller of yesterday.
Is this assesment false or true or neutral?

I like the looks of short cast birds, but I have longer cast birds who roll real nice. Performance is all important to me, nothing else.

I like the Long Cast type birds myself. I have both in my family as like many. The longer cast birds seem to be more stylish over all in their performance and so goes with showing the hole. They also seem to handle the weather condition here with more ease. I personally can't stand those cobby type birds but it's more a cosmetic preferrence. Same thing goes for Rec. Reds, it would be stocked only if it was the best. Thor

I like them inbetween , in the the hand and on the perch the short coby birds "look" like they shoud be "it" but that is not neccesaraly the case if what short and cobby is what I know as short and coby , to me the coby means blocky. I like my birds athletic but not "thick" athletic if that makes sence.
