Does anybody hold to the idea that eye sign has anything to do with performance? Some raceing pigeon breeders have swarn that eye sign had a lot to do with performance when it came to breeding raceing homers.Things like eye reflex, mooning arround the iris, weather the puple is centered or off center, pearle eye, corn eye, orange or otherwise.Does this corelate with performance in Rollers?

There can be, in some birds, signs that can give a general idea of what the bird's performance MIGHT be like. And it has nothing to do with what the eye looks like, its color or how intense the circle of correlation or the number of flecks the eye has.
It has to do with general character. And in some birds, you can see the general character of the bird by the expression of the eye. Some people can instantly recognize eye expression, others have a difficult time seeing it.
I can usually tell if a bird might be or is a knucklehead, usually too hot. Stiffs are very difficult to judge by expression alone. In fact I know of no one that can pick the best spinner from a group as well as the stiffiest bird, based solely on the eyes. Chances are they might pick the same bird..lol.
