I was reading the thread earlier about culling and had a question-- what meds. would be harmful to us--that is if we eat our culls.I am not against eating the tasty morsels just alittle wary of what goes with it.Maybe some one out there from the medical field knows something?
Thank you all again Mike

Fr. Mike,
I would advise anyone to read the "package insert" that comes with all medications. Is it used on farm stock being sold that is intended for human consumption? Read and see if there is any side effects after ingestion of medication that effect the animal in question.
Personally I would ingest the pigeon prior to giving any medications. I treat and medicate my loft in the fall so that gives me time to fly and see who stays and who eventually goes. Besides the dog likes them cooked well and has not complained yet.

I like a larger bird for eating. but you should use what you have. Just about your meds.
