I'm from fresno. We have a club, the KRRC, that flies from Kingsburg to Fresno. If you know the name of the guy then maybe I can help you out. Go to the NBRC website and maybe you can also get his email address on there. Our club will be having a club fly the last saturday of this month. You can email me at: ddv2376@yahoo.com.

Ken, I don't think he is talking about Roy. There are two african american men here in fresno that I know of. One of them used to sell some birds to the local kids until he got ripped off a few times and then decided not to sell anymore. He is in our club but he does not want fly now as he thinks is birds are not up to par yet. The other guy is a guy that sells his birds also and the local kids like them because the are deep rollers and "suicidals" (rolldowns). A buddy of mine used to have these birds until he saw the real deal rollers.

What pleasure do you get from flying 'suicidal' birds that are going to injure or kill themselves?
Stay away from that guy and his birds. I'm sure that there are better birds than that in Fresno!

Redline, I know Otis. If you like his birds then you can buy some from Woody. Most of Otis's birds are from Woody anyway. Woody is getting out of the rollers. Do you want to get competitive or just fly birds in the backyard?

Kevin, how are you doing? To answer your question: No one is as competitive as Woody, lol. Since we are not up to his standard he is quiting and selling off his stuff and getting into the show rollers last I heard. If redline wants to go that route then it is his choice. We all have to learn sometime. If redline is serious then he can contact me.

If you want to get serious and competitive then there is a local club, KRRC. Maybe some of the members can donate you some birds. You can also look on the NBRC webpage and email some guys from fresno. If you want to talk more then you can email me. My email is list above.
