Congratulation on your new rollers. This project will reqire a little observation. If you have nestboxes, watch which 2 birds try to claim it. Males coo, bow and drag thier tails. hens respond by fanning tail and dropping wings and hopping. Male offer dinner by an over the shoulder invite. Hens accept by billing and mating follows. Eggs mean it is a hen for sure.

Could you not get any info from the person you got the birds from? It would seem to me that person would be the best source of answers for any questions you may have about your new birds. By the way, congrats on your new birds and welcome to the world of Birmingham Rollers!

The one that hit keep him in for 10 days and let it eat more food. Glad to hear you have 3 pair so far. I have more than I should be breeding. I am babysitting a girl friends flock in adddtion to my own. Plus I have 3 other breeds.
