im wondering if anyone have a reliable method of tell if a bird is a male or a female. some people said that u can tell by checking the bones that is close to the tail, and i have been using that method but its not really reliable. so if u have a better method, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

A mirrior and watch the birds reactions. What behaviors are you seeing? When you first get a bird they are quiet and you can't tell anything. But wait and watch. Male coo, bow and fan and drag thier tails on the ground. Females fan thier wing and drag on the ground and hop.
