I have couple birds that can go 30-40ft, but they don't got the speed. but this youngster is still young (4 months old). so do you think the speed might come later once they mature? or maybe that's what they can do(no speed, but deep). tu

Yes they should get better, but it is hard to say with an unstable bird , few young birds can roll with the qaulity of old birds , I would be much more concerned with a 4 mo old bird rolling 30-40 ft living long enough to get better. If it starts shotning up that means it is getting a handle on the roll and the qaulity and speed should improve. Just my opinion Scott

Tu, at a 4 month, the bird is doing good. Most of mine do the same. Keep them feed good about two tablespoon of feed a day and fly him at about 23hrs intervals. This way the bird will fly at good distance and away from crashing. I noticed with Danny’s birds, if they are a roll down, within a week from that kind of performance they will crash. Therefore, if it has not crashed yet, that is a good sign but watch out he might become a bumper. lets hope not.
