Hey All.....Does anyone have the formular for White Wash for walls and ceilings of a loft? Its better for health reasons the just using paint. Or is their anything better to use?

Paul,

I used oil base paint. The paint that you use for the outside deck. It does not do any harm to the birds once it is dry and the smell is gone. It is very easy to wash or hose down. That was my preference and it is working very well for me.

I used interior latex I got from a painter buddy . Sherwin Williams. Woo hoo!!

I agree, any paint will seal the wood, make it nicer looking and easier to clean.

Okay.....now I have to become a PAINTER too, besides a CARPENTER......LOL
Thanks guys for all your advice.I did use the paint idea on my first kit box. And it did work very well. Especially when it came to washing out with the hose.
