Wishing you some good rolling pigeons.Starting out with a good line of Rollers is the hardest part.I've had to do it twice. The last time was 3 yrs. ago and I am just now following the roll with my currant strain.-Scotty

Brian,
The two guys you mentioned are good ones but there are many more in the CPRC,your self included. There's a hot bed of rollers in this general area. If he is looking for birds in the San Diego area then John Jones would be one to look up. One thing I have noticed in buying birds that if you want quality birds be prepareded to spend a little money. You cann't go to some of the top lofts looking to spend pet shop prices for quality birds. Some will tell you that they don't sell birds they give them away. Now,lets be real about this. How many guys do you think would have a total stranger come to their loft and they just hand them their best stuff? This person may not even be in birds in the next year or two. Lets just be real again, most guys will give some good or decent birds the first time and see how you handle them. They want to see if your in this game for the long haul and then they may offer up some of the better birds. Now, no one would enter any other sport or hobby looking to get free equipment. You wouldn't take up golf and think some one's going to give you a set of clubs or tennis and think some one's going to give me a racket and shoes. Then, why is this sport/hobby do people think things should be free?

Do anyone have the phone number to Jose Luis or Johnny Smith in Lake Elisnore. I have a couple of rollers now, but I think they're not that good. They are going to fly soon.
