I spent a couple of hours at the Paul Fullerton lofts and even with the wind his birds kicked butt. His birds looked great with the exception of those barn pigeons he found at the Campbell Construction Company, they need a lot of attention to keep of the cull roster(LOL).
He has some deep rollers that keep it together. I knew he had Ruby Rollers and I was curious about them.......I was impressed. I saw some breeders I might come by in the dark when Paul is out putting a fire out and steel' em.
Good birds......I know I have to make some changes to get caught up with him. I immediatly took my deepest kit birds and put them in my breeder loft.
I think the first thing you loose with a family if your not careful is depth. I have 20 footers while Paul has 30 and 40 footers. I also saw a poop load of birds that did more than 40 feet. Keeping in mind the wind was rough I was impressed even more.
Good show Paul.......now you have to return the favor and come see my birds.

Nick,
Thanks for the compliments! I know those Campbell birds need some work..LOL!!! I am glad that you and Steve were able to come over. I will for sure return the favor before you leave for Arkansas. The birds were having a good day.
Remember I have my Dobie guard dog if you try and steal them...she will attack..LOL!!
That damn shark went after my young bird kit today. Did not get one..but almost did!
Again thanks! It was great to have you over.

Kenny - we were just trying to get the bulldog to snarl a little bit. I thought the words "barn pigeons" would get a glare from him.
Tony - Those Ruby Roller breeders are the target. I am even considering those Campbell "barn pigeons". LOL

Mongrel.
No inside joke...they are really good. I have a dark check hen in my A team from My Campbell pair that is ball bearing smooth...I had a recessive red hen...that was about 40ft and kits like glue...a little rocket...but I think a hawk got her. I have two more in my young bird kit that are just starting to show me somethng! Nick was just rattling Scotts Chain..LOL!! They are out of the pair that I have posted on rollerdigest in the fanciers section. 03 Black cock with white tail and 98 RR hen. Great proven pair. They produce some nice spinners.
The Rubys are really doing good and living up to my standards!
We did have a good time! The birds looked pretty good for being in Winter shape..LOL!
