A friend of mine got a hen that is very fast 30-40ft 2x per min. is one of fastest hen i had ever seen. and always in his A-team, which is in his first kit at all time. after two year he tried to mated that hen to a tort cock, and many others different cocks, but no eggs out of all of them. we tried to pull out some squeakers out of that hen for the whole year and still no eggs. each time we put a new cock to mate with this hen they did go through everything, sit on the nest, and do like every pigeons do, but still no egg. then i realized that probably she spin too hard, and that made her reproductive organ disruptive. it's just my opinion......and my question here is this possible, if a hen that spin too hard will lose her reproductive organ?

How old is the bird?

Are you sure it is a hen?

I don't think they can spin thier reproduction organ out or do damage to the same.

Infertility can exist for many reasons or causes. It can be corrected sometimes, but I would not take too much time in the remedy.

Just my opinion, only.

Have you ever heard the term 'Eggy Hen'. This term is used when the hen in the kit box fly while she has an egg inside of her. Sometimes it will damage her reproductive organ. That is why we try not to have the birds mate up while in the kit box. Not just because it is inconvenient for us to through the eggs out, rather to protect our hens from damaging themselves.

J_star, you're probably right, this hen is right about 3 yrs. old redbar muff hen got from danny horner from NC. maybe the speed may not ruin her reproductive organ, but is there a chance she might had break her yolk before become an egg.
