as i was trying to breed my 1 year old pair they dont seem to be mature enough to breed. yes, they are kissing and mating, but they don't seem to go inside the nest and cuddle eachother at all. they just want to fly. how long does it take a pair to leg egg?

At one year old they are more than old enough to breed. I would not recommend you flying your stock birds.

How long have you had them together? The should be laying within 10 or 11 days after treading.

As nicksiders said it takes about 10-11 days. Since it is only a week they are togther let them do what they doing. After 9 days you will notice that hen starts to stay in breeding cage after mid day and it is about time to lay eggs.

I have six pair goin wright now one of the pair took for ever about three weeks. took some advice from the guys on the forum and pair are on some eggs. they told me to leave the lights on longer and that worked. See if that works for you like it did for me.
