hey guys just wondering if there is any specific number of cocks to hens that you,s keep in your kits. at the moment i have a fair few young cocks in my kit and there all carrying on like randy rabbits at the present time causing a lot of disruption.

It varies. I promote depending on performance onto teams. There are times I seperated my hens and cocks into seperate kit boxes.
Keep your kit boxes semi dark and this will discourage breeding in the kit box.

thanks for that my kit box is fairly dark. the side where they feed and where the trap is perferated sheet metal half the floor and the door do you think that is letting in to much light. regards trev

It is just this time of year. You can cut their feed down and keep them hungry to keep their mind off but no matter what you do, nature has to perform as it supposed to. Even if you separate the cocks and hens, you still will have problems this time of year and for the next month.
