i just start birmingham roller one year ago, i don;t know much about color. if you know please share.

which color is the most dominate.......as i see comet pigeon (wild pigeon in the city) i notice that most of them are blue bar. blue check........it's hardly see a white pigeon...do you think blue is the most dominate color in pigeon.

should we use Punnett Square to determine the off spring.

Tu.There are 3 colors in pigeons.Ash Red,Blue/Black & Brown.Everything else is a Factor or Modifier.
Ash Red is Dominant over Blue/Black & Blue/Black is Dominant over Brown.
As for the Punnett Squares someone else will have to answer.I am familar with it but don't use it.Hope this helps. David

Hi Tu,
From what I have seen the most common in ferals are blues, predominantly blue check, bars, grizzles, and reds. Here in Hawaii the white grizzles, blue checks, bars, and all whites are predominant.I guess the white factor is here because of the wedding release businesses.Aloha,Todd
