How many days does it take for the pigeon to hatch thier eggs. I have one pair in a cage for alost three weeks now and they are not producing any eggs. they are one year which is already good for them to breed already, and they dont seem to produce eggs. I have another pair in one cage for a week and a half and they alreayd have thier eggs. Why are some pigeon not producing eggs?

Hey Washington, try separating the hen from the cock for several hours everyday, when you put them back together, he should drive her, if not, he may be a passive cock and it could take a long time to finally get eggs from this pair.
A good pair should have eggs no later than 12 to 14 days after pairing them. I use fosters and young pairs can have trouble getting started with that first round or two. Hope things work out. ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

Or we have a infertile hen. Have you owned this bird from birth? Or did you buy her? Some Meds or diseases can cause infertility. Who knows?
