I have an idea...no matter what Jim Says...do not respond. Pretend that he is not even there. Nothing drives a YAPPER nuts....more...than being ignored. NO MATTER WHAT HE SAYS..HE IS NOT EVEN THERE> If you don't play the game....then there is no game to be played. It takes two to Tango..so lets leave him on the dance floor...dancing by himself!

Hello All, I spoke with Jim for about 3 hours tonite. I found him to be quite full of knowledge and experience. Talking on the phone, I found him very pleasant and with a good sense of humor.
We talked about many things. When someone has been breeding birds as long as he has, he can develop a few opinions about the roller and the politics revolving around its promotion.
As we have all found various things about our rollers that seem to work for us and believe to be true, we want to share them with others.
Jim has expressed a willingness to share what he has learned and discovered and will share about it in the future by contributing articles which can then be discussed if so desired.
I must say, his motivation seems to be very much the roller and its promotion. Just like many on this site he too is passionate about the roller, of which he will be more careful to moderate posts in the future.
He looks forward to posting and becoming a valuable contributor to the site and forum threads.
I ask that everyone will allow him a second "first" chance to make a good impression and offer their hand in friendship and understanding as have I. All your effort to bring him into the fold is appreciated.

Good deal Tony , problem is my grandma is on her way to kick his ass as we speak but she got hung up in a all night bingo game in Reno , she'll probably forget why I stuck her on a north bound bus anyway , not like it was the first time.

Jim, with all I due respect, I did not understand a word you said in your post. Maybe it is me, but I am having a real hard time following what you are trying to say. If you are for real, then you need to work on explaning things in your post for us to take you seariously. Otherwise, you will lose your true point that you are trying to make. Nothing against broken english, not at all, but for some reason I can not follow you. Thanks.

To understand "Jim" you must read between the lines.
He only tpyes the substance not the added words to make a complete sentence.
use what he has given and build on it.
waste of time on this forum to discredit,, add meat to the post, not strip to the bone.
I can see truth in all of the above, sad though.
You see my guess is "Jim" visits the Fantail chat group and has become a copier of Bob McKee. McKee has done this on that site for years and I would not doubt that this is the scattered way he really thinks (chemical inbalance?), but he has a lot to offer and if you can focus on the minimal facts and just the meat provided "Jim" will be a valuable asset to this form.
I think the biggest insualt one would have is the fact that his identity is keep from everyone, this keeps it a joke and stops anyone looking at the meat and moving forward.
Just my thoughts

Ross, I'm in Surrey, near London, but born and raised in the good old North East of England (I'm a real Geordie). I know Consett, as my daughter was born near there in 1995, when we rented a place in Rowlands Gill for a time and she was born in Shotley Bridge hospital. It's too cold for me up there!

Shaun, then again some of us make the "Richard Noggin" club without even trying. (Favorite term of my favorite bartender from back in the old days.) We all need to look in the mirror before casting the first stone. Perfection is seldom achieved. Jim initially drove me nuts-not a long trip. Read between the lines, he has something to say without personally attacking anyone. I enjoy his posts. Just a humble opinion. Not everything needs to be turned into a pissing contest.

OK, Geo, you also - what exactly is Jim saying there? This isn't a pissing contest, as you so quaintly put it. We're just trying to understand what the guy is saying. There have been a number of other posts from Jim which make much more sense than that last one. It's as if Jim is a number of different people and at least one of them is having a good laugh at our expense.

Oh my god I can't believe people are still giving this guy the attention he appears to be so badly seeking. Tony has spoken to him on the phone and said that he appears to be intelligent so we know that it isn't a disability. He assured Tony he would change then comes right back on here typing his junk. I have read what he has written from the beginning and it seems to me that the more people respond to him the worse he acts out. My motto is I am interested in something as long as the B.S. doesn’t out way the benefit. In the instance I definitely feel that it is way too high of a price. If you feel that this guys garbage is worth his knowledge I think you are selling short the experienced guys on here who have been honest and helpful offering hours and hours of their time without regret to everyone on here. This site contains some of the most knowledgeable pigeon guys on the web. It would be great. By posting to him we are taking up valuable interesting discussion time. I think of this situation in this light. I am not going to search through a pile of crap looking for a single book on pigeons when I have a library of excellent pigeon books on a shelf. Specially for a book that may or may not contain anything of value to me. To Motherlode I hope your mom isn’t stuck in a bingo hall and gets to this guys house soon. I want her to kick his ass. I personally will not even acknowledge he exists until he posts something of value. I hope all of you do the same.

I agree that he has not said anything bad about anybody. He has my respect for that, but for the life of me, I can not understand what he is trying to say. And when he does, his post always short without meat in it to be able to respond accordingly.
I will stop responding to his post in protest. Until a time comes where he can be helpful in communications. No hard feeling Jim, you are a good man.

Hey All, I am dismayed by what I now call "jimscript". I expected better. Not seeing it though. Have sent an email asking for better. If not improved, no sweat to remove him once and for all.
I agree with all the frustrations being experienced here. I leaning toward my original take on this guy.

Here is a possible solution for Jim
Jim, if you have Microsoft Word, or another word processing software, type your responses or comments on a new document using this program. When finished, use the "spell check" feature to have the filters check your spelling for you. All words that are not spelled correctly will be flagged and you will have the option to select the correctly spelled version of that word. Once complete, select the entire text by pressing Ctrl>A, then Ctrl>C to copy it.
Then go to the posting page where you originally wanted to post your response and press Ctrl>V to paste it to the window.
This process might seem a drudgery, but in the end you will learn how to correctly spell the words you are trying to type, making getting your point across easier for both you and the viewers of your post.

Seams like Jim wants only to correspond with Kevin in regard to how far is too far and nobody else. Scott make sure you stay out of the Dome while no one else dare to join the conversation.
BTW, what is with the dome thing? Are we only allowed to enter the dome based on Jim's permission? If it is only one person is being cornered or courted in a conversation and becomes no intrest of others to want to particpate, it is best if taken offline one on one and reach a conclusion there. Then if you wish to share with us the outcome, it will be appreciated.
kevin, you don't have to respond if you don't want to. It is your choice.

She's stuck in Reno, she blew all her money on bingo , cheap wine and refer.
I will wire her some money in the morning with a new mission , she will be heading to the Carolinas to kick Cliff Balls ass instead , she's pretty worked up over it.
