hey there guys had my first hawk attack today on this beutifull australian autum day sky was clear 4.30pm what a show it what a rush it was birds going everywhere flying 4 there lives thought one was a goner but to his credit he didnt go down gave that hawk a flying lesson indeed. inever seen my birds fly that fast and high before that bugger just couldnt get the drop on them he gave them a fright tho. i wont be letting them out 4 a couple days now . cheers trev. ps hope this doesnt happen to often tho

This happens alot in my area during the winter,so I dont fly at this time.I have to wait till spring to fly my birds.This has discouraged many in the sport of flying rollers in my area to the piont that people dont know what a roller is and even if they did they cant raise them because they dont know the migration of the hawks enough to deal with them.I guess this is good for me cause I dont have people ripping off my birds like I have heard in other parts of the country.Scotty
