I sure could use some advice. This morning I noticed that one of my stock hens had her left eye slightly closed as in barely able to see the iris. Maybe some crusting around the eye. Dosen't look like she injured it and have not noticed any other bird with any eye problems. Nothing down her throat, still flying and trying to escape my exam. I did not notice any discoloration of the eye nor drainage. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Steve

Steve,

Just go to a wallgreens and get a little bottle of allergy eye drops and a little bottle of over the counter pink eye...eye drops....give the allergy drops to the bird first...twice a day for a couple days...if it does not clear up use the pink eye med the same way...that seems to always work for me.
