i've been working with my birds 4 a long time, and everytime i fly my birds, they dont fly high like usaual anymore. they are either hungray nor full. do i just feed them grains our those big peas also? i just wanna cull those birds so bad, but they made some great progress for the last few months until now/.

Alright George
A couple of things to try and think about.
Depending on the age of your birds it might be what I call the adult change. In my kit at about six months the birds go thru essentially puberty. The finally go into the adult moult and get thier adult disposition and abilities. I have had freq`y birds go into the moult and the change and come out with 40 footer. They usually stiffen up to a degree after a few more months. Thats why some guys fly young teams trying to coincide this stage of development with a big contest. Only thing about it is it can bite ya.Young birds are not consistent. They will screw you to tears in a fly.

If the youngest is over five months put em on wheat for a week fly every day possible then go to a 50 50 wheat milo back to back then to wheat for three or four days then wheat milo with bit of peas and a rest day. Then fly them. Have a few buddies over and watch the show it should be good. A little yo yo will find out if they have anything. Ya might cut them back a 1/4 cup on the rest day.

It could be a number of things. Experimentation and note taking. Allow three days for feed changes to affect your kit. Play with them, every kit is different and react to different stimuli. Your job as manager is to find these little subtle keys to make your birds perform.
yits and good luck bro

This time of year early heat can play havoc on them until they get used to it , mid 80s this time of year and my birds want to come down.

George,
Depending on the number of birds you have ten or twelve is enough for them to perform. If you have twenty or so split them into two groups.
