I know there is an old thread somewhere discussing who is who posting on this website, but only a few people ever wrote anything here. Also, there is a place to fill out your user profile when you all join this forum, but almost no one fills this out.Basically,I'm sayin' it would be nice to hear from more people who you are, where you live, what you do and little of bird history so we all know who we're talking to and receiving or giving valued advice. How about some input here or edit your user profile page.?? Kel, My name is Todd DiAntonio.I am located in Kailua,Hawaii on Oahu, which is a beach town and is well guarded by emerald green mountains.A beautiful place to fly rollerpigeons,I also grew up here and is great active place to raise kids.I fly primarily the Continental strain of rollers[Hatcher,McVay,Stephens,Rosehill],they are solid in their structure ,which I like.I breed for the deepest, tightest, collective performer that will still shoot back to the kit like their tail is on fire.I have a blue side and a grizzle side, breeding out of children/grandchildren of #266,#425,Low freeze,Caddilac Jack,P.cookie.I also have Dave Hendersons line of performers mostly blacks and rec.reds w/mixed tails and selfs. The hendersons are outstanding team performers and am currently working with Dave on increasing the depth, every year I see improvement. Both of these strains,I have been working with for 4 years.I also have been flying and breeding Tonys Ruby roller strain[lavenders, mealy bars, red checks w/beards and balds of those variations],for 2 years. The Rubys are my newest strain and show promise. In a year or two I should see them come on strong.I fly out of 4 kit boxes year round. I have been a licensed general contractor for 16 years and am considered a Master cabinetmaker, which I started at the age of 18,under a German master, what a hardhead!!,lol.I recently remodeled my home and started a Concrete countertop business.I formly ran Quality control for the largest solid surface fabricator in the world, for 6 years in Phoenix,Az,and was their lead installer for 3 of those years.I now work as a lead man in 10 man cabinet/solid surface shop,5 minutes from home and have been for 4 years, till my business takes off.I raise Racing homers and parlor rollers from top shelf bloodlines. The parlors make me laugh and the Racing Homers are a source of income.I am 42 years young and hope to win the W/C before 45.I am a single parent and my son Brian[17] and daughter Asia[13,going on 16,lol]live with me.If you find yourself visiting Hawaii, look me up....Aloha,Todd

My name is Nick Siders. I have just moved to Marion, Arkansas from Yuba City, Calilfornia to basically set up my retirement. I am going to start competing for the first time hopefully this fall and maybe gain a little creedence and respect in the roller world(LOL).
The birds I have are a conglomeration of Stephens, Hatcher, Norwood, and Werstler(sp)(Booker). I am breeding them small, but muscular. They are very alive in your hand. They tend to be red(checks, ash, mealy, grizzle, and recessive). I do have a smatering of blue checks and bars with a tort now and then. All have white markings of some sort or another except the recessives. For control reasons I will not be widening my gene pool. The birds I have are all related to each other without being line or closely inbreeded.
I have learned that there will be setbacks along the way and color doesn't mean a damn thing when relating it to performance. Then I am going to tell you that I love these birds besides for the performance for thier shape and color just to confuse you a little. I only breed for performance, but I am glad they look the way they do. How is that for a little contradiction? It is just I never breed looking for a certain color or a certain look. I am only looking for better performance.
I will be flying about three, maybe four kits when I am in full capacity, but that is it. Right now I could not put two full kits up of twenty birds each. ---------- Snicker Rollers

My name is Paul Fullerton. I live in Woodland CA....it is about 20 miles West of Sacramento. I am a Fire Captain for UC Davis Fire Dept. I started in the fire service back in 1989 and Started with UC Davis in 1994. I was born in 72. I have a lovely wife and two kids. My other hobbies besides pigeons..well I am into cars..>I have a 72 Nova SS Show car as well as a 57 Porsche Speedster "Wide Body". I used to be a competetive body builder in my youth..so I love to workout...I have also been a model for the last 10 or so years...As for the modeling...I just do it for fun...done shoots with Joe Montana...coca-cola..sony...Bank of America...fitness stuff..runway...joe boxer...been in vogue and elle magazine...Again...it is JUST FOR FUN>>LOL!! I played college football and coach high school wrestling too. Been an athlete my whole life.
Ok...now for the pigeon stuff...been into pigeons for a total of about 15 or more years. I have been in competition for 3years...I raised a lot of livestock when I was growing up...had Champion Dairy goats...and raised sheep and a pig every now and then. As for the birds...I do not mess around..I cull very hard and I only want the best. Color means NOTHING to me. I like my birds to be fast and deep...(competiton deep). I really love this hobby and all the people I have met along the way. The strains that I have in my breeder loft right now are Ruby Rollers and Mort Emami/Chuck Roe. I do have some Scott Campbell birds in my A-team that are little rockets. Right now I am focusing on The Ruby and Mort Emami/Chuck Roe line. I plan on crossing the two in the near future..just to see what happens....I would like to build my own strain out of the two main lines. I am really happy with what I have. Over the last couple of years...I have gotten out of my back yard and watched lots of good kits...Chuck Roe, Scott Campbell, Joe Urbon, Eddie Verdugo etc...etc...Chuck, Scott and Mort have really taught me alot and really made me very picky on what I keep or what goes into the Stock loft. Tony has been a great friend and we chat a lot about rollers. Anyway..I love the hobby and I love the people...

My name is Darin Olson from Pocatello, Idaho. I'm married and have 5 boys and spend much of my life at their baseball games, (my oldest plays Double A American Legion baseball). I work for a Credit Union as the Head of Compliance. I am in the process of completing my loft which is 8' X 16' with 3 kit boxes attached to the front of it. I'll be 40 in August and just getting back into rollers starting last November after having had some when I was in high school.
My current family of birds came from Ivan Hanchett and I have 3 pair of Ruby Rollers coming from Tony hopefully this month. The birds from my first breeding season have provided a ton of learning opportunities. I'm working on building my first competition kit for next year's World Cup as I don't think they'll be ready for the Fall Fly.
I'm having a blast and learning a ton and making many great friends here in this forum. I consume everything I can get my hands on about these little birds. It's amazing how spending time working with them brings a sense of peace and sanity to the end of my day.
