Hi All,
I am a small bird rescue operation in South Orange County California. I am a moderator on the 911 Pigeon Alert Group as well as a moderator on Pigeon-Talk and many other smaller pigeon related groups.
I often get rollers that can't be traced and will be posting here for assistance and will greatly appreciate any help. Some of the "custom" bands are very difficult to trace, and many of these beautiful little rollers end up being pets with me or are placed in homes that I find for them. I'm a good home and the homes that I find are good homes. Still .. many of you really would like to have your bird back, and I'm happy when I can get one back home when it's really wanted back home.
Anything you all can do to help locate the owners of some of these birds will be greatly appreciated. Do understand that I need some assurances when one of you would like one of these birds that it is truly yours or is going to a very good home.
For any of you who have lost banded rollers, please feel free to post the band numbers on 911 Pigeon Alert .. you never know .. somebody may have found your bird: http://www.teranetsystems.com/911PAContact/
Just type in the notes section that you are reporting a lost bird .. most entries at our site are for found birds, but we do match up the lost with the found and have been able to get some home that way.

To everyone here , Terry is a great asset and has helped more than a few birds get returned to their lofts and her and a handful of others work very hard at it, they have my respect that is for sure. She deserves all the help that we can give her in trying to track down band numbers. Terry thanks for all that you do !!!!
