usually rolls look like a falling ball, but have you seen a roll that looks like a v shape, or tornado? I've finally flew my fireball rollers today and the hen seemed to roll in a tornado spin or something like that, instead or back flips.

Doua,
You may need to venture out more. Or, invite the veteran fliers to watch your birds in the air.
I have never heard of a tornado type roll but if I had one, it would be junked. Sounds like a wing switcher to me.

Plate rolling, maybe? If it is a young bird it may come out of it. If it is a old bird it will be difficult for it to correct itself. Make sure the bird is not injured; not being over fed; and is in shape(has been flying often lately). I would talk to the individual who sold you the birds and see if had experienced the same types problems and his recomendations.

If it never comes out of it you may be forced to cull it.

It's a rolling term called, twizzling. Or plate rolling, spinning side ways. It also switch wings too, if you can spot it. A cull!

the bird is wacked, before I bought it, it was rolling right, a good 20-40 footer, great velocity, great depth, could control the roll, it was in the same condition from when I bought it the only thing that changed about it was that the eyes became shinier and their are no more poop near the edge of the tail. I do not understand why this bird is rolling different, maybe because of the food it gets, It was fed scrap, I feed it some grain and parakeet feed as a snack... don't understand why this bird is performing this way... but was a great performer, maybe I locked it too long, (2 weeks). I don't know, it's getting me frustated, maybe it will be a great experiment in the breeders loft? hum...
