Guys
I am in if I can get a judge. Me,my daughter Kate and Bruce. He flew in the WC. He is not a puter guy.
I will probably fly 11 as I had to cull of a few of my kit.My daughter should have a full 20.

If they don`t kit,they don`t score.
Color don`t roll and peds don`t fly.
It`s a comp thing,understand?

Looks like I'll be in as well. We'll see what happens. It's a unique situation that's going to enable me to compete.

Yours in the hobby,
Eric

In for two as always. Looking forward to it.

RO, your RD will either be George Ruiz or Marshall Duncan. It just depends on where you fall with the boundaries.
Both regions generally don't fly the FF qualifer until mid to late October so you have Plenty of time.
Brian.

I want to! I haven't heard back yet from the RD. I'll fly the 11. I don't have 15-20 good ones this year.

I'm in.
At least (1) for the 20 bird and (1) for the 11 bird.
I don't have enough birds for (2) 20 bird kits, but can scrape something together if it will help the region. I will stay in contact with my RD. He knows to call me if it will make a difference.

Well, I'll admit Brian, I haven't worked on it during the Convention! I didn't go near a computer!! LOL! Let's see, you fly in region 9D, and flew Oct 9-10, right? How did your fly time work out for your region last year?

We typically fly our region qualifying the second week of October. I believe the last two years we flew the finals for this region about the last week of Oct. Before that it was in November sometime. I'd get with Alex and possibly even Mel Stalzer who judged it last year. It seemed like they had the schedule down pretty fluid and were finished before thanksgiving.

Brian,
Oh yeah. I am working closely with Alex on what worked and what did not in the last couple years. I don't see any major problems.

Hey Cliff,
I'm in for two kits no matter if I have a team or not.. I will fly one in the 11 bird and one in the 20.. We need to support the flys even in the dry years when we don't have the best kits or the time.. If we all just set the flys out till we get a great team. We will soon find when we do have that great team, we don't have a fly to compete in!! We all need to support the big flys, good team or not!! Just my opinion, Mongrel Lofts

Good point, Kenny. I'll probably fly both. It depends on how many young birds come into the spin with enough quality in time. I have 14 holdovers in the '05 A-kit after a few losses and pulling the best two for stock. (Of course, in the last month, another cock at 18 months of age has kicked up his speed, depth and quality to another level better than the one I pulled! Man, I hate to keep flying him!) Last year, I tried to pull 11-birds out of a 20-bird young bird kit and fly them. Boy, that was a bozo move. They flew like they were looking for the rest of the kit! So, I may add young birds to the holdovers soon, to make twenty. Or I may fly the best 11 old birds and pick the best twenty young birds. Whaddya think?
