rad,
Check out the NBRC website at nbrconline.com and see if you can find the Fly Rules. That will get you started as to the type of roll that is scoreable. There are apparently some guys in Serbia that you might be able to contact, as well as Germany (Jeurgen von Ramin), and of course Holland (Heine Bijker) and Denmark with the current World Cup champ, Ferid Catak. You can also click on the World Cup link on the NBRC website for more names and info. You can learn a lot from the conversations on these sites, as well, depending on your English, which seems to be pretty good! Good Luck!

Those that fall and hit the ground we call them rolldowns and undesirable at all. We kill them if they don't kill themselves. We keep the youngsters that show conrtrol when spinning. When they are landing close to the ground they will shorten their spin. When they are flying high then they will spin about 25' to 35'. We keep those and after their first moult, which is about after 1 year, if they continue to show control then we stock (breed) them.

If you have allot of those rolldowns, you need to get rid of them and only keep the ones that has the control. If you don't have much left, contact somebody around you in other areas and see if they have better birds to help you with.
