a change in geographical location affects how the birds might fly?

In other words, if you have a family of birds that come from the southeast coast, close to see level, warm and humid, and have been there a long time, and you buy a squeaker kit from that fancier and he ships it to you in Denver where the climate is much different with hot, dry summers, and cold, snowy winters and you are considerably higher compared to sea level, will it affect that kit as far as how high they fly, how feed will affect them, etc.?

All things being equal such as loft management, feed type and amount, etc., will a simple change in geographic location make a family of birds behave dramatically different?

Tony, have you seen a difference in your kits where you're at now compared to where you used to fly them on the west cost?

I look forward to your thoughts! Thanks!

I believe there is an adverse effect on birds. I moved from CA to AR and had to adjust a lot of the ways I manage my kit birds. It has been 5 months and I am still not got them to the level they where at; they have gotten better.

I believe location does have something to do with it. But in the case of receiving a kit from another fancier alot of thay also has to dso with how they were and are handled.
A very experienced person will have the birds back on track faster. New fanciers are only left with trial and error methods until they catch on.

Yep there is some thing about it...and I also would like find out what is it? I noticed my birds fly and roll very good when wind is from south/east to north/west. Not sure what it is but wind felt lot lighter and birds seem very happy. I am in central New Jersey.

DOUBLE-D, i will be paying more attention to all these factors and elements in the high desert , the flyers out here tell me to watch out for, especially the wind but i have to find out for my self with caution. The birds i'm flying now favor the north, back in O C they would favor the south and east, still i'll make my observation's,
