Hay to all! I am still with you guys just have been Soooo- busy!Work has been nuts and the little lady that runs the house has me----well you know--every thing she can get me to do!--For my first year I banded 49 birds and due to a resident pair of coopers and some other larger hawk I now have 28 and the fall migration has yet to begin.We live about 60-70 miles from a place called Hawk Mt. where I have heard of a hawk count of 11,000 hawks.They say there is a web. site that gives a day to day count but I havent looked at it because I dont want to get depressed LOL! Anyway I am going to fly the fall fly in the 11 bird slot.BUT--If I get many more losses I may be just donating the money.Most of the birds are doing some nice flips and about six are doing some decent rolls.about every third fly I see something that makes me shout "OH YAA BABY!!!!" They for the most part are in the molt and the oldest is seven months old so I am not expecting to be on any high point list-if I dont DQ I will be very happy.How goes it with all of you?

Welcome back!We were missing you for true.Sorry to hear of all your losses due to the preds.A fact of life in this hobby eh.I've managed to pull about 30 out of my breeders and have only lost 5 so far.Flying at 20 minutes before sunset and the henery seems to be bedded down by this time so not having too much problem with them.My freinds here in the B.C. Roller Club are giving me at least 30 squeakers on Labour Day weekend so they should be fun to play with!!Make a lot of noise when those preds show up and maybe you'll scare them SOB's off.Good luck and health to the pigeons!!!

Hey Mike.Glad to hear you are goin too be able to fly.I think we will be flying on Friday Sept. 8th.Elric hasn't made the schedule yet.Deadline for entrys are this coming wednesday so if you know anyone who hasn't sent their's in yet remind them.
Glad to see you back on the list again.I know what you mean about being busy.Just can't never get caught up myself.I will almost be glad to see Winter so I can spend more time on the computer.LOL.
