Hello List,
I heard some talk about using barley. I was wondering about the benifits of using it.I bought some rolled barley and is it okay to use for my kit? Any info on it would be helpful.
Thanks Mark

Barly has less protien than wheat (18% - 12%) slightly more fat. It is very high in carbohydrates (about the same level as corn). It usually costs more than wheat. It would be a great substitute for corn.

It is a sound cereal grain.
