All,
Is there no longer a Roller Journal? When I go to call them I am getting a fax machine. I had heard they were out of business. Tell me this isn't true.
Thanks! lr

Hi, Dave is still around. Just payed him a visit about a month ago. He's more into his racing homers now then his rollers. Saw the W/C Regional Winning kit during my visit. They were off that day but I can see how he qualified for our region. Maybe you can give him an email or give me one and I'll provide you his email. Thor

Hayseed, The Roller Journal is definitely still in publication. I got mine last month. I'm not sure why you can't get through, but I would follow Thor's advice and e-mail him. Good luck. YITS, Cliff

I was infact able to get through today and ordered a sample.
She said somewheres around 700 subscriptions. I gotta tell ya'll it would be very difficult to make anything on only 700 subscriptions. They must be doing for some other reason :)

WOW! That was quick! Got my sample copy of the Roller Journal yesterday. Nice read but, the thing I found in it that I liked best was the "Scholarship."
For those of you that take it you already know but, to those who don't.... I am sold! You see the publisher states that life throws us tough turns from time to time and that he doesn't want anyone to let a subscription to his journal get dropped if money is tight due to a lost job, illness, divorce or whatever. You get a scholarship for a year (receiving the Journal for free) then when you can pay a little extra for someone else to do the same.
I not only will be ordering my subscription but, also will add a little. I have been through those tough times and if I had kept a hobby then maybe things wouldn't have been quite so rough.
A simple thing he has offered, to me makes it a GREAT thing. My hat is off to him...
SOLD I'm SOLD!!! :)

Hayseed, Glad to hear you scored so quickly! I agree on the program to help flyers on hard luck...it's a great program. I have chipped in a little extra to help out, as well. Obviously, he's not in this thing to make money!! There are usually some great nuggets of information in the RJ. You might want to pick up back issues that are available this winter....it helps pass the dreary months! Good luck. YITS, Cliff
