2 feet off the ground,on 4x4" posts,1/2X1/2" hardware cloth floor, box on top,4ft wide,4ft high,3ft deep. You'll fit more birds in if need be with 8" box perches.I use 4"ABS plastic pipe 45 degree elbows for traps.2of them works real good.A bullet water fountain from Tony's inventory would sure go nice and build yourself a plywood tray with 1/2 X 2"around the edges for a feed tray and you're pretty much done.Good luck, and OH by the way WELCOME to a fine website. ---------- Kelly

Hey Flips, Yes the wire floor is exactly that. You need that ventilation to keep things dry.I have a tray underneath to catch the poop and any seed that falls out of the feed tray. Most other kitboxes I've seen don't even have an aviary for giving the birds light.I can't stand to have my birds in the dark all the time so have an aviary 20" highX 30"wide X30" deep. Also have a small training cage I can put over the traps to get them used to that.Make the door opening as large as you can ,because when they come out to fly they are in a hurryLOL!! and they need a good sized opening so as to not hit the sides as they exit.Flying Rollers is a riot!!!Makes one laugh, which makes you feel good. The predator part is no fun,but just breed lots and figure out the best time of day to fly so the preds are not so successful.Late in the day is best here. Good luck and have fun! Kel.
