Hey 247, welcome to the site, I hope you enjoy it and will find it useful and friendly.
I would not recommend doubling up any medicines or tonics. They may have a negative reaction when combined that could hurt your birds.
However, you could experiment (Lab Coat optional) on a single bird using small amounts and see if there is any kind of negative reaction.
I have not used garlic before but do use Apple Cider Vinegar regularly at 4 fluid ounces to five gallons of water with apparently good results; droppings have less odor, seems to reduce flys, provides additional vitamins and enzymes and seems to have a general overall anti-bacterial effect.
When I clean my loft floors, I will use a spray bottle with a 1/3 ratio of Apple Cider Vinegar to 2/3 water to spritz the floor. Works great!
As for acid reflux, I don't hesitate to use a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar to get rid of it instantly! Its true! ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

I do it often, doesn't hurt them. You just have to be skimpy with the dosages of both as they don't care for the taste if mixed strong. You will have to change it nearly everyday as the water will get really rancid fast.
