its getting cold here in vt. soon there will be snow soon it will be time to put birds togeather thank you lord.

Smokey,
My birds are just now finishing up. I didn't get an early start as I normally do. So I will seperate them within a few more weeks until the middle of Feb. This will give them a few months rest. But yesterday I placed the tarps over my outside flight cages. This will keep some of the wind off of them and I still will be able to feed out there. And I don't look forward to using the heaters for the water. And the way they look sitting on the perches during them sub-zero days. I want to move to southern Mississippi the weather was perfect down there LOL.

if your looking forward to cold weather and snow on the ground, well, you might be alittle twisted...LOL
I agree to putting the birds together but that other stuff you mentioned...AAHHHHH...I hate to cold. there aint no eskimo in this German , hillbilly`s pedigree. good luck with your breeding this year!!!!

putting the birds togeather is the only good thing about mid. november. i have no use for snow and it gets worse every year.never did make anykind good angel snow or otherwise. but the family is here so here i stay. take care an goodluck with yours smokey

It is the third week of October and it is already snowing here in NE Ohio and frigging cold. I am not looking forward to those winter months. Where did the summer go? Breeding or no breeding...this cold weather stinks.

Jay --SNOW already ?!? please!! I'm in Pa. not far from Ohio cant stand the stuff. My driveway is 600 ft. long and about 15% grade-cleaning that white stuff off is a big pain. Love the leaves hate what comes next!

after that first day of winter its nice to no spring is around the corner but its the longest corner i no of. but there is a brite side no lawn to mow.
