I have a 2-week old in the nest which has one wing that is solid white and the other wing is almost entirely blue check.
The dam is a blue check hen with white flights and the sire is a blue bar cock with white flights. The 2-week old is mostly white except for a dark blue/black chest and the wing thing. It's the coolest looking bird but the wing combination is odd. I've never bred or seen anything like it.

What do you call a bird like that color-wise?

Thanks Brian, I knew I could count on you to tell me what's going on. This particular pair has had 4 young and two of the four have been odd colors from what the parents look like.

One from an earlier round is all white except for the black chest feathers and light gray "shoulder pads" feathers on the upper-front rounded part of it's wings. It's also a beautiful bird and really likes to fly, (now almost 2 months old). I'll have to get some pictures posted so you can see what I'm talking about.

Thanks again!
