hi all,
my mate sent me some eggs (his birds roll much better & comes from a Canadian strain) today. 4 eggs came out damaged. 1 had a small dent (no liquid came out at all), 2 has a microscopic crack (i know because the cotton/packing material was glued to the egg) and the liquid came out a little & 1 had a 1mm bump (like getting your car door hit by another car) but no liquid came out. these eggs are freshly laid a few days ago.
question is if i seal the eggs with some tape/etc & put them under the birds tomorrow, will they make it?? anyone with similar experience, pls advise. i have limited qty of these eggs & need them to get the kind of birds that roll good.
cheers.

Hey Sky, I've dented a couple of eggs while candling them to see if they were fertile.Didn't do anything 'cept sheepishly put 'em put 'em back in the nest. They hatched. That egg that had packing material stuck to it might not make it because some of the goodies leaked out.Are you down in Aus there Skyroller? ---------- Kelly
