Bought some red cell yesterday, heard its good stuff for the birds. Wondering how much, how often, and what results can I expect?

Table spoon in one gallon of water. Does not mix easily. I would only use it for comp. day. Too much for too long and the wheels start falling off.

It is not a magic juice. Bad birds will continue to be bad. I would only recommend use on mediocre kit; if you got a real good kit the wheels will drop off before your eyes. Talk to Scott Campbell; I think he will tell you the same as would Kenny Billings.

Selected use only here and it is not magic....it is a vitamin and mineral suppliment only. Too much of anything is never good and if you have a real good kit why use it. Sometimes you can't put the wheels back on.

My opinion and it has nothing to do with the facts(LOL).

Hey,

I use it at 1oz per gallon of water. It is real high in Iron so do not use it all the time....I will give my breeders a shot here and there during the breeding season...It seems to recharge them. Mayb once a month or every three weeks...I will give it to them for 2-3 days in a row.

As for the fliers.....During the summer I will give them a shot of it here and there maybe once a month or so. I will give it to my A-team as part of there comp prep schedule that I have for them....I give it to them about 5-6 days out...just to get them feeling real good. They do seem to fly a little longer the day after I give it to them. I notice that they are a little more active..but not much...it is just a good supplement like everything else...good overall health.

Like Nick says..it is not magic juice it is a vitamin for horses and it makes the birds feel good...you usually see something in the birds if the are deficient in certain vitamin and it zaps them.

As for the mixing....I use the cone type water feeders...so I will put the red cell in the water feeder and take my hose nozzle and put it on a jet setting and fill the feeder with a little water pressure and it seems to mix the red cell with the water just fine.
