Hey guys,
Here is the funny thing,, A guy ask a question about full turns.. When a few of us give the answer we have never seen one and think they are dam hard to get..Near impossible if you are looking for all birds to roll right.. Guys who think they see them fairly often, get upset that an opinion other than the one they have is given.. Why? If you don't want to hear all opinions, why ask the question? Do you only want to hear from those that agree with what you think? Not much of a conversation if we all just agree.. Now is it? How does anyone learn if all they want to hear is from the peanut gallery? KGB

PS. I couldn't reply on the other tread for some reason,, just kept bouncing back

As always Kenneth, we love hearing your opinion. In fact, I don't believe anyone told you that your opinion was BS, but you were kind enough to tell us who have said we have seen it that we are basically full of shit, while Scott basically says we are inexperienced. You are more than welcome to share an opinion, just make sure your give-and-take of respect is the same. I know what I have seen and I could give care less if the self-proclaimed sheriff of birmingham rollertown agrees with it or not. Do you really think for one second because you don't think it is possible for a full turn to happen, or that we who have seen it are simply inexperienced backyard pawns, that I, or really anyone else, would change our opinions? Not in this lifetime homey.

Mongrel,

I do not think that anybody said that they see them often....or should I say ...what is often. I have only seen 2 in my birds in 4 years of flying for comp...or having birds that are from good blood. I mean 2 times out of about maybe 1500 or more times putting the birds up...I mean..if you ask me that is not very often...lol. To me often is like..well...a lot more then that. Brian McCormick..even said he is only seen it a couple of times two...and I bet he has flown about 3,000 times....I agree if someone say that it happens a lot...they are a lug nut.

I think the main argument was people saying that it would never happen and if it did..it would not be legite...and people saying...if you did see it...you are not experienced enough in the hobby and you don't know what you are looking at....I think with the people who answered that they have.... are pretty respected and have good birds and are hard on ther birds quality wise.

No disrespect you or Scott at all...but I think the main arguements were about telling someone they are not good enough to recognize a good break and that those breaks are impossible. That was the argument. Your opinion was never attacked...the other side was attacked and belittled. I mean we are talking about a full turn...not a big foot sighting....Your opinion was respected but it seems becuase you and Scott have never witnessed one..then god damn..they just can't happen.

.............................................................Speaking of Bigfoot sightings , did I mention that I had a Bigfoot frolicing in the grass below my loft just a while back.
It was pretty cool until I saw that he had one of those pink little Easter baskets on one arm and was flipping cow paddies looking for shrooms, and he had a crazed look in his eye kinda like Hilary Clinton after the Monica affair thingy !!!!!
I won't deny it I was scared and screamed like a little girl , dropped the feed pale and my bong that fits nifty in my SpongeBob fanny pack and ran in the house only to be drop kicked by the wife for not taking off my shoe's with dog doo on the bottom.
all true !!!!!!

Scott your wasted friend you should be on the stage, lol But speaking of bigfoots we too have had sightings here also LOL I am on my way to work now ill be smiling at your last post all day well done. Anyway its end of chat for me with this full turn subject i think i have made my point about it i just hope people look at there birds slightly diffrent to what some of the flyers have been looking at them. Its my opinion only and i hope to many people dont take it to heart. And just think what they are writing before they start writing. If these high scoring judges keep giving these scores like they do your standard of kits will deteriate amongst the new flyers. They will be easily pleased with their birds and will not know any better.ie if a judge scores a 10 break and the 10 break only merits a 6 break the newbie will watch his birds and think 10 break is what he is looking for when they only score 6 and so on. We need to be hard on judging and it will bring the quality of birds on 100 per cent amongst this hobby .Come on lets get this hobby bigger and better i know it will probly annoy a few people but its the only way to get he point over best wishes from uk.

I got somewhat educated on what a full turn was. I knew you had to have all the birds go into a roll at the same time but my question would be, do they all have to roll the exact same distance at the same speed and same velocity? Thinking back, I can't say if I've ever seen a full turn because I don't know exactly what one is. I'd hate to get bashed for thinking I know what I'm looking at. Geez, maybe a set standard would help! While we're at it, a standard on exactly what a true BR is and what true BR colors are would be helpful. Just a thought, MAYBE SOME OF US ARE TAKING THIS HOBBY A LITTLE TOO SERIOUS! Just a thought.

Gee guys....I kinda feel bad that I missed out on this one. Sorta sounds like "same ol', same ol'" stuff...same personalities, different topic. Some people never learn....
YITS,
