One of my rollers got chased by a hawk now and it acts funny.
I saw the roller dive to the ground from the roof with the hawk after it. It stayed on the ground while I chased the hawk away from a nearby tree. Next thing I knew it was under a car too scared to fly away. I finally forced it to fly away and it flew ok with the kit.
The next day I flew it, it wouldn't fly. I tossed it lightly in my shed and it flew all crazy hitting the ceiling. Now it walks all weird like it has pmv. When it goes to do something it looks like it always over do it.
Did it just hit the ground too hard and got retarded or it might have pmv? Maybe it has a panic attack? Should I just cull it?

I hade a bird act like that I think he flew into some thing and hit his head to hard.

Jim,
Give the bird some time.Don't force it to fly.It's probably stressed from being attacked and won't want to fly for a week or so.

Lock it up and feed it up...that bird is just freaked out..you are lucky that it did not just drop dead. I had a bird just drop dead..I think it had a heart attack..LOL!!
Think about it...what would you do if you worst nightmare chased you....and you knew it was going to eat you...you would be a little freaked out too...just rest and food....
