I have a 3 month old squeaker, who was flying well and everything, and all of a sudden he went crazy!!
It started about two days ago, I thought it was because the older birds were picking on him and he was stressed out, I took him out of the loft, then I took him inside the house and noticed he moved his head in a strange fashion, he twisted around, and when he tryed to fly, he sort of rolled like a Parlor Roller. He can't fly, he won't eat or drink anything. Could it be PMV??
Please help!!!

hello, its pmv unfortunately,you can either hand feed the bird if its of some value to you or cull,you can inject the bird but i have found that seldom do they get better, hope this helps ,jim.

Thank you Spinner Jim.
I had another question regarding the matter, Do I start vaccinating the rest of my stock? Or is it to late? Most of my birds are very healthy. I always use 4 in 1 everyday, every water change, ever since I started. This is the first time anything like this happens to me. I just started with Birmingham Rollers early 06.

4 in 1 is not to be used everyday my friend. It will destroy the birds immunity from those kinds of diseases. You cannot give antibiotic everyday for birds. Use this stuff once a year before the breeding season and you will not have anything like this. Good luck.

J_star....it all makes perfect sense!!
I give them 4 in 1 everyday, so their innmune system has nothing to worry about, then any little thing(cold, Flu, etc.) could kill even the healthiest birds. That explains why I lost a couple of birds to the cold. I'm not gonna use 4 in 1 anymore then.

Use it but use it wisely. It was made for specific purpose and when it is used for that purpose then it is worth the money paid for. You need to use ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) everyday or three times a week. Use 'Pigeon Builder' from Foy’s Pigeon Supply as a vitamin supplement twice a week. Other than that, you are playing with fire.
